Margaret Goodrich, age 64 of Springfield, Missouri formerly of Sparta, Missouri, passed away Monday, August 21, 2023, in her home. She was born November 28, 1958, in Oakland, California, the daughter of Jim and Sharon (Feinberg) Roszell. On May 3, 1995, Margaret was united in marriage to Charles Goodrich who preceded her in death on June 2, 2021.
Margaret enjoyed being a stay-at-home mom, wife and homemaker. She was a talented cook who loved to create fabulous meals, collect recipes and help teach her family the art of cooking. Her sense of humor was appreciated by her family and she was well known for having a funny personality. Margaret was well organized but often had her favorite cup of coffee after keeping things neat and tidy. She loved Jesus, reading, traveling, good Mexican food and especially helping others. Margaret was loved by many and will be sadly missed.
Margaret is survived by her mother Sharon (Feinberg) Roszell; four sons Jason Roszell, Richard Medina, Ray Raven, Noah Valence; two daughters Rochelle Raven and Sarah Goodrich; four grandchildren Heaven Leigh Raven, Sammy Hudson, Billy Hudson, Shawn Raven; three brothers Danny Roszell, Harold Feinberg, and David; two sisters Trish Bolin and Nicole Pickup; other caring relatives and friends. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband and father.
A visitation for Margaret will be 11:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. Friday, September 1, 2023, in Barnes Family Funeral Home, Ozark, Missouri. The burial will follow at 1:00 P.M. in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, Missouri. Online condolences may be shared at www.barnesfamilyfunerals.com.
