Michael David Miller, age 39, of Springfield, Missouri passed away Wednesday, August 30, 2023. Mikey, as he was fondly known to his friends and family, was born September 8, 1983 in Pasco County Florida, the son of David and Dawn (Casey) Miller.

Mikey was known for his generous heart, infectious smile and unconditional love of dogs. The unconditional love and support of a dog, Minnie, helped Mikey though the toughest part of his life leaving a lifelong love of dogs. He served on the board of K9’s for Camo where he dedicated his time training rescue dogs. Recently, Mikey became an entrepreneur founding MMK9, Michael Miller K9, in Springfield, Missouri, providing dog training, boarding and grooming. Mikey was determined to live his life selflessly to make a difference for others and always willing to give back.

He is lovingly survived by his parents, David and Dawn Miller of Walnut Grove, Missouri; sister Samantha Stringer and husband Josh of Ozark; biological son Joshua Owen; paternal grandparents Dr. Paul and Beverly Miller of Conway, Missouri; and his fiancé Holly Robinson who he has spent the past four years of his life with and planned to marry later this year. In addition Mikey is survived by numerous cousins, aunts, uncles and loyal friends.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 11, 2023 at First Baptist Church, Conway, Missouri.     Michael was not only Beau’s trainer, he was our friend. Somewhere throughout the 5+ years the friendship grew to feel like family. We love you Michael and we will always remember you. Love, hugs and prayers for Holly and your family.
