Jerry K. Weagley, age 56 of Chadwick, Missouri passed away suddenly in his home, Tuesday, June 20, 2017. He was born July 3, 1960 the son of John K. and Thelma (Greene) Weagley. Jerry was a longtime resident of the Chadwick community and attended Chadwick High School. After graduation, Jerry was a longtime employee of Kraft Foods and eventually retired. Among his favorite hobbies were horse-back riding, hunting and riding motorcycles. Jerry also enjoyed spending time with his son Guy, who was Jerry’s pride and joy. Together they enjoyed fishing, working in their vegetable garden and attending Oakwood Church in Chadwick together. Jerry is survived by his son Guy Weagley; two sisters Pam Jackson and husband Mike and Johanna Melton; three nieces Traci Lee and husband Mike, Amber Brooke Jackson and Courtney Jackson; nephews Brian Jackson and wife Christina and Caleb Lee; other caring relatives and friends. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and brother-in-law Ted Melton. Arrangements and cremation for Jerry are under the direction and care of Barnes Family Funeral Home, Ozark. Graveside memorial services will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday, July 1, 2017 in Chadwick Memorial Cemetery. On line condolences may be shared at www.barnesfamilyfunerals.com
