Alexander Jonathan Finley, age 9 of Nixa, Missouri passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2022. Alex, as he was fondly known, was born March 9, 2013, in Springfield, Missouri to Adam and Ashley (Weltsch) Finley.
Alex was a wonderful kid, he was so easy to get along with and he always brought joy and comfort to everyone around him. His heart was huge and he always had a smile that would light up the room in any situation. Alex was mature beyond his age, always thinking of others and wanting to make them happy. His personality gave him the ability of being everyone’s best friend. Alex was talented and loved playing video games with his friends, especially Fortnite. He loved playing sports, checking out the newest tennis shoes and spending time with his family and friends. Family outings were important to him, and he looked forward to every family get together, no matter how small. Alex especially loved the yearly family vacations, each one was the best! Alex will be sadly missed but his loving memory will live on forever in the hearts of his wonderful family and friends.
Alex is survived by his loving parents Adam and Ashley Finley; his older sisters Adelynn Finley and Trinity Finley; his maternal grandparents Bob and Gigi Weltsch; his aunts and uncles Chris and Holly Myers, Jonathan and Kaylie Weltsch; several cousins and other caring relatives.
Celebration of Life Services for Alex, will be 6:30 P.M. Thursday, August 11, 2022, at Nixa First Baptist Church, 601 Wasson Drive, Nixa, Missouri. Arrangements are under the care of Barnes Family Funeral Home, Ozark, Missouri. Online condolences may be shared at www.barnesfamilyfunerals.com
