Alice Faye Keltner Forrester, 77 of Springfield, Missouri, formerly of Nixa, passed away Tuesday, January 25, 2022. She was born July 3, 1944 to Daisy and Leslie Keltner. Alice grew up in Chestnutridge and remained in the area for the majority of her life. She married the love of her life, Jerry Forrester, August 15, 1964. Together they raised a family of three boys, Steven, Robert and Brian. From the three boys, Alice was blessed to become grandmother to five grandchildren, Aaron, Michael, Samantha, Andrew and Asa. She was a mother-in-law to Marcia, Danielle, and Kate. In June she was able to attend and witness her grandson Michael getting married to Sarah. Alice spent her life being a caregiver and making sure that her family and friends were well cared for. She took great pride in her family and enjoyed spending time with them all. There were many family meals served in her home and many, many games of Hearts and other card games played by her and her sisters.
She was preceded in death by numerous family members, including her husband. Her sons know that there was a joyous reunion for her after being apart from him since 1996.
