Christopher Wayne Baker February 9, 1969 - November 12, 2020

Christopher Wayne Baker was born to Freddie and Lyn Baker February 9, 1969 in Springfield, Missouri. He passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at the age of 51. Chris was known as a fun and loving father, brother, and friend. His love was unconditional and though he didn’t wear his heart on his sleeve those who loved him knew how much he cared. Chris had a love of music and would spend time playing the guitar and singing with family and friends whenever he had the chance. He loved martial arts and received a black belt in Kenpo from Tracy’s Karate Studio where he later instructed. Chris could always light up a room with his contagious laugh, telling a story, or even sometimes just a look. He was the bright spot for those around him.

Chris is survived by his daughter MacKenzie Baker, sister Vicki Baker Woodard (Buster), brothers Tom O’Connor (Carol) and Kirby Baker. Nephews TJ O’Connor( Lindsey) and Alan O’Connor.  Great nieces Mallory O’Connor and Kailyn Baker and great nephew Cayson O’Connor plus many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He will be missed by many.
