Curtis Eugene Schneider, age 60 of Ozark, Missouri passed away Friday, October 5, 2018 surrounded by his loving wife and family. He was born September 27, 1958 in Owensville, Missouri the son of Eugene D. Schneider and Gladys Kaiser who both preceded him in death.
Curtis was a loving man and loved his children and grandchildren deeply. If you needed anything, Curtis would find a way to get it for you. He was a hardworking man, always striving to make things better for his family. He was also an avid reader and a genius with computers. Throughout his 18 month battle with kidney cancer he has been involved in the life of his family. He began the process along with his son remodeling our home to leave it in good shape after he was gone. “Always thinking of others”.
Curtis is survived by “the love of his life” his wife, Melody (Henry) Schneider. He and Melody were married October 1, 1994 and recently celebrated their 24th anniversary. Also surviving is his daughter Michelle Houston and her daughters Kylie and Kynzie Houston, her son Kamryn Wyrick and her fiancé Travis Wyrick; his son Michael Houston and wife Dakotah and their son Milo and daughter Harlowe; sister Margaret Schulte; niece Jennifer Schulte; nephew James Schulte and wife Amy and their sons, Xavier, Xander and Mason. Also a host of extended family and many friends he met along the way.
Last but not least he leaves behind his constant companion, his beloved dog Lexi. She never left his side.
