Ellen Lynch April 11, 1964 - April 12, 2023

Date of Funeral

April 22, 2023

Ellen Mary (Sheehan) Lynch, age 59 of Ozark, Missouri, sadly passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2023, after a beautiful birthday celebration with her family. She was born April 11, 1964, in St Louis Missouri the daughter of the late Albert and Mary Sheehan. Ellen had six siblings including her late brother Michael, Chrissy, Margret, Mary, Jim, and Tom. She was united in marriage to Keith Michael Lynch and together they had the three sons, Zachary Michael, Jesse Casper, and Devin Gregory. Recently, Ellen was a loving grandmother to three beautiful grandchildren, Eleanor Love, Jaxson Casper, and Kendall Ellen.

Ellen was very active in both family life and in friend life. Growing up she hunted and fished with her childhood friends and siblings, went on long trail rides with her horse Diamond, and numerous camping and floating trips. She loved reminiscing about her magical childhood. She took her childhood and influenced her own children’s childhood by introducing them to the outdoors very early. Going on long hikes, bike rides, and sharing long walks on the beach looking for seashells. No matter how much the three boys put her through, she always kept up and stayed active with all of them. She was very active in the church, in which she prided herself. Ellen always enjoyed taking the lead in organizing events and helping the board at her local Ozark Missouri church.

After acquiring property in Ava, Missouri, her favorite pass time was enjoying trips to the property with the family. It was either for picnics on top of the hill where she talked about the house she and Keith would build and live once they retired, or getting trees and trails cleaned up for all the ideas her boys Zach and Jesse had for the farm. Her love for nature started when she was very young and continued through her entire life. To make her workdays go by, she bought hummingbird feeders and swings to entertain visits from her favorite bird. She had so many plants around the house she would brag about and take care of with her daughter-in-law Kaitlyn. Her garden in the backyard provided the vegetables for the family’s Sunday dinners. She loved shopping for deals with her daughter-in-law Natosha. And she loved to sit and talk about books and drink wine with her soon the be daughter-in-law Julia. Most of all,

Ellen loved Keith. The way she looked and smiled at him, laughed with him, cooking with him, and just simply living her life with him. She took so much pride in her family and would not hesitate a second to brag about them.

Funeral Mass will be noon, Saturday, April 22, 2023, in St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 1796 North State Hwy NN, Ozark, Missouri. Arrangements and services under the care of Barnes Family Funeral Home, Ozark, Missouri. Online condolences may be shared at www.barnesfamilyfunerals.com
