Euella West, age 63 of Republic, Missouri passed away peacefully on Thursday evening, January 25, 2024 in the comfort of her home. She was born on October 8, 1960 in Springfield, Missouri to her loving parents, William and Hazel (Swearengin) Dwyer.
Euella’s journey of love and companionship began when she married her first love, John Hendrix, on August 26, 1977. Their union lasted for 39 years until John’s sudden and untimely passing. In a testament to the resilience of the human heart, Euella found love and happiness once again, and on October 7, 2017, she joyfully entered into marriage with Bob West.
A dedicated professional, Euella enjoyed a fulfilling career that spanned several decades. She served with distinction in a secretarial role at Hagale industries for 20 years before making significant contributions to Queen City Warehouse for 16 years, as well as CRH and Sutton Transport for 3 years. Euella retired in February 2023, opening a new chapter in her life alongside her beloved husband, Bob.
Euella’s zest for life was evident in her love for motorcycle rides, drag races and attending car shows and fall festivals. Together with Bob, she explored the pleasures of travel, creating cherished memories in several states.
Euella was not only a loving wife but also a caring and nurturing soul to her extensive circle of friends and family. Her boundless love, encouragement and comforting presence touched the lives of many. Although she has departed from this world, Euella’s memory will forever be etched in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.
Euella is survived by her husband Bob; two daughters, Amy Nelson and husband John, Jaime Allen and husband Jason; eight cherished grandchildren, Cody, Kyle, Alisha, Jasmine, Savanah, Ethan, Tyler and Phoenix. She is also survived by Bob’s children whom she loved as her own: Justin West and fiancé Jessica, Zachary West and wife Shilo, and Courtney. Euella was preceded in death by her parents, half-sister and first husband.
A visitation to celebrate Euella’s life will be held on Monday night, January 29, 2024 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Barnes Family Funeral Home in Ozark, Missouri.
