I taught for several years with Helen at Colvin Elementary. She was such a dear lady, always so kind and loving. I saw her in recent years at Chaucer Estates when the Ladies’ Glee sang there. It was always a treat to see her and visit with her for a few minutes. I would never have guessed she was 96. May you find comfort in the beautiful memories.

I loved Helen! She is one of the best teachers I ever worked with: I especially remember how she always had her students close their eyes and be at peace. She never told them to pray but lots of good introspection (and prayer) went on in her classroom. She came to my school after she retired to tutor kids who had fallen behind and they loved her and would do anything for her. God blessed us with her. May you have a beautiful rest, Helen!
