Howard Loomis March 26, 1951 - April 29, 2019

Howard Loomis, age 68 of Springfield, Missouri passed away Monday, April 29, 2019 in Cox South Hospital. He was born March 26, 1951 at Chadwick, Missouri the son of Donald LeRoy and Betty Jean (Shipman) Loomis. He was united in marriage to Phyllis Simmerman, who preceded him in death.

In addition to his wife, Howard was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law John Essick. Howard is survived by by three children, Brock Simmerman and wife Patti, Shannon Loomis, Tabitha Nguyen and husband Cuong; his brother Dwain Loomis and sister Shirley Essick; seven grandchildren Kalli and brother Wesley Simmerman, Taylor Loomis and fiancé Ashley White, Madison Loomis and fiancé Dustin Chastain, Adrionna Nguyen, Bri Nguyen and Cohen Nguyen; one great-grandchild Triss Chastain.

Howard was loved by everyone of his family members including all of his children, many nieces, nephews and beloved friends. Even though this wonderful man has passed away his family knew his heart was full after seeing his wife and family in Heaven. Howard will be dearly missed by his loving family but his memory will live on forever.
