Hunter Jean Daugherty, age 24 of Chadwick, Missouri passed away suddenly, Sunday evening, June 28, 2020 from results of injuries in an automobile accident. He was born May 22, 1996 in Branson, Missouri and graduated from Chadwick High School. Hunter was fondly known by several nicknames but his favorite was “Hun” given to him by his niece Charlee. Family was important to Hunter and his life was filled with love, laughter and he was blessed with a contagious smile. Hunter was excited to learn of the pending birth of his son,
Hunter Jean Daugherty, Jr and was looking forward to his birth in December 2020.
In his spare time, Hunter was an avid coon hunter who loved his old coon hound “Hook”. He will be sadly missed but will live on forever in the hearts of his loving family and many friends. Hunter loved everyone unconditionally with his whole heart and will never be forgotten.
Hunter leaves behind his girlfriend Shianne Rains and his unborn son; his parents Julie and Tim Lee, Kirk and Jessica Daugherty; sister Kaylee Fox and husband Brandon, sister Laurie Martin and husband Riley, sister Braden Rabbit and husband Trevor, sister Shayna Adams; brother Zack Daugherty and wife Taylor, brother T.J. Daugherty, brother Remington Daugherty and brother Garrett Guerin. Hunter also leaves behind his nieces Charlee, Parker, Riley and Brynlee; nephews Hudson, Cole and Takoda; grandparents Doris and Steve Ryan, Charlie and Diana Swindle and maternal grandmother Viola Daugherty; Hunter was also blessed with several loving aunts, uncles, cousins and many wonderful friends. He was preceded in death by grandparents Charles and Jewell Lee, grandad Jerry Daugherty, uncle Denis Daugherty, great-grandparents Roger and Clysta Billingsley and Raymond Hargis.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, July 2, 2020 in Chadwick School with Pastor Bally Johnson officiating. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service from noon until service time in the school. Burial will follow the services in Chadwick Memorial Cemetery.
