Jacqueline Archer October 23, 1938 - July 6, 2019

Jacqueline Archer, age 80 of Sparta, Missouri passed away Saturday, July 6, 2019 in Mercy Hospital, Springfield. She was born October 23, 1938 in DeMoines, Iowa the daughter of Paul and Edna ( Grim) Bedwell. On January 18, 1958, Jackie was united in marriage to Philip Archer, who preceded her in death August 13, 2013. She especially enjoyed being a proud military wife to Philip for 20 plus years.

Jackie was a devoted employee for K-Mart and had a successful career as Human Resource Manger. She especially loved everyday of retirement with a special passion for life and shared her spare time with family. Her memory will live on forever and her family will never forget her true belief of the winning numbers. Jackie also very deeply loved her Ozark United Methodist Church family where she enjoyed being an active and faithful member.

Jackie is survived by her daughter Valerie Carr of Sparta; son Philip E. Archer and wife Anna Marie of California; brother Paul Bedwell of Nixa; sister Sandra Fulgrabe of Redlands, California; eight grandchildren Shannon, P.J., Jason, Jesse, Jacob, Michael, Cameron and Braydon; four great-grandchildren Breanna, Sammy, Jacob and Desiree; several great-great-grandchildren, other caring relatives and many friends. In addition to her husband, Jackie was also preceded in death by a brother Leonard Bedwell and her parents.

Memorial funeral services will be 7:00 P.M. Thursday, July 11, 2019 in Barnes Family Funeral Home, Ozark. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time in the funeral home. Burial will be 10:00 A.M. Friday, July 12, 2019 in Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, Missouri. Online condolences may be shared at www.barnesfamilyfunerals.com.
