Johnny Hiram Cunefare, Sr., age 79 of Sparta, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2014 in Bossier City, Louisiana. He was born September 21, 1934 in Newton, Illinois the son of Otto and Christena (Brown) Cunefare. He was united in marriage to Mary Cunefare and this union was blessed with six children, Janet and Jeff Johnson, Teresa and Eddie Peters, Sandy and Daan Compier, John and Tece Cunefare, Mike and Mandi Cunefare, Chris and Cary Kapper. He is also survived by twenty grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and other caring relatives.Funeral services for Johnny will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday, January 18, 2014 in Ozark Highlands Church, 1606 South 12th Avenue, Ozark. Pastor Mark Zimmerman will be officiating and burial will follow in Sparta Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time in the church.
