Kathryn (Kathy) Estep, age 66, passed away Thursday evening, June 30, 2016 surrounded by her family. She was our beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend. She was born on December 2, 1949, the daughter of Howard J. and Jeanette C. Reed. Kathy married Bob Roland Estep on June 21, 1969. Kathy and Bob operated farms in Christian and surrounding counties for many years. She retired from Lily Tulip after 35 years of service. The joy of her life was her family, farming and meeting the needs of others. Kathy was known as “ Kate” by her friends at Lily Tulip. Preceding her in death are her parents and brother Howard Reed. She is survived by the husband of 47 years Bob Estep, three sons Jacob, James and John (April); brother Herb Reed, Strafford, Mo, sisters Margaret Kneemiller (Warren), O’Fallon, Mo., Jo Ann Hiller, Springfield, Mo., Carolyn Lile (Arnold) and Janet White ( Terry), Strafford , Mo. Visitation will be Tuesday, 6-8 pm July 5, 2016 at Barnes Funeral Home, Ozark, Mo. Funeral service will be Wednesday, 10:00 am July 6, 2016 at Mt. Zion Church, 877 JJ Hwy, Ozark, Mo.
