Lee Merle Beck, age 86 of Ozark, Missouri passed away due to a cerebral hemorrhage Sunday, April 18, 2021. He was born February 5, 1935 in Altus, Oklahoma the son of Willis and Clara Beck. At a young age, he moved with his family to Southern California, where he graduated from Santa Paula High School and began working for Safeway. Always one who loved working with his hands, Lee retired early from the grocery industry to pursue his passion and found a successful cabinet making business. In 1994, Lee moved with his wife, Georgia, to retire in Ozark, Missouri. There, he enjoyed fishing with his neighbors, taking the grandkids for tractor rides and celebrating Fourth of July with elaborate fireworks displays.
Lee is survived by his wife Georgia and his sister Wanda (Bob) Hester, as well as four children; Melodie (Mark) Epperheimer of Kenai, Alaska; Melissa (Dennis) Taylor of Bayfield, Colorado; Nathan (Vicki) Thompson of Ventura, California; and Lisa (David) Stenfort of San Jose, California. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, and additional extended family members.
