Lenise Marie (Turner) Forbes, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend left this earth peacefully from her home Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at the young age of 63. Lenise leaves a legacy of compassion, love and deep-rooted faith in God.

On September 30, 1960, in Council Bluffs, Iowa, Lenise’s birth blessed Charles and Karen Turner as their first of three children. Later, her sister, Shellie (Turner) Chenoweth and brother Charles Turner completed their family.

Lenise lived her life loving God, her family and church. She devoted her life to health and wellness and was proactive in her service and dedication to others.

Lenise also had a passion for the beach and a penchant for collecting seashells. She raised her children through the lens of a camera, never missing a play, sporting event or an opportunity to capture the memories of each progressive stage of their lives.

Lenise is survived by her Mother Karen Huff; sister Shellie Chenoweth and husband Ken; brother Charles Turner; three children Amber Burns and husband Jeremy, Ryan Forbes and wife Kimberly, Nicholas Forbes and wife Ashley; seven grandchildren, Kaitlin Booth and husband Trevor, Anne Marie Schaeffer, Treyton Forbes, Chelsea Schaeffer, Abbygail Schaeffer, Kolby Forbes and Hoyt Forbes. Lenise was united with Curt Stiles on April 4, 2019 and gained bonus daughters, Jennifer Stiles, Kristen Gilbert and husband Nicholas, three grandchildren Finn, Adeleigh and Beckett Gilbert.

Lenise was preceded in death by her Grandfather, Vincent Dehart, Grandmother, Deloris Dehart and her Father, Charles Turner.

Funeral services for Lenise will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, February 19, 2024 in Barnes Family Funeral Home, Ozark, Missouri. Visitation will be 12:00 noon until service time. Burial will follow at Bruner Cemetery. Family request donations be made to the Bruner Cemetery.  On line condolences may shared at www.barnesfamilyfunerals.com
