Patricia Applegate July 20, 1950 - August 10, 2021

Patricia “Pat” Diane Applegate, age 71 of Chadwick, Missouri passed away peacefully, Tuesday, August 10, 2021 in her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 20, 1950 in Mansfield, Missouri the daughter of Dale Cunningham and Naomi (Dewhirst) Cunningham and the world was blessed with a beautiful soul.

Patricia met the love of her life and within two months she was united in marriage to Joe Applegate and became Mrs. Patricia Applegate.

Patricia was a dedicated employee and worked many hours at various positions of caregiving but retired after 21 years as an LPN for Ozark Riverview Manor of Ozark. She also enjoyed being a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her life blessed her family with a lifetime of love and beautiful memories. She will be sadly missed but her loving memory will live on forever in the hearts of family and friends.

Patricia is survived by her loving husband Joe; three children Billy Joe Applegate Sr. and wife Terri, Kathy Jo Applegate, B.J. Applegate and wife Kendra; a sister Beverly Rippee; three grandchildren Cory Jones, Danielle Applegate and Kipton Case; several other caring relatives and many friends. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, two children Joseph Earl Jr. and Lori Anne Trabold, a brother Denzil Cunningham and a nephew Justin Maggard.

Graveside funeral services will be 10:00A.M. Friday, August 13, 2021 in Applegate Cemetery with Pastor Rob Dalton officiating. Online condolences may be shared at www.barnesfamilyfunerals.com

    So sorry to hear of the loss of Pat or as we grew up together also being 2nd cousins we knew her as Patricia she was one year younger than me so I went to school 11 years together. I didn’t see her very often even though I live in Sparta when we did we always had to remaniss so. Prayers for Joe and all family.

    Aunt Pat will be greatly missed by so many of her friends and family! Her smile was unforgettable and her ability to make everyone feel welcome! She was my mom for a few weeks every year when I would come down and stay over the summer to help joe and Bill cut wood,haul logs,coon hunt or go to a sale barn! Patricia applegate was one of a kind! R.I.P. Aunt Pat! Forever in my heart! ❤

    My heart hurts deeply! She was my daughters nurse for many years at ORM she was the only one who took the time to know Shannon and her needs, she was her second mom! She was a great friend and I loved her deeply! I’ll never forget her! May God wrap his arms of peace around you all!
