Patsy Ann Jackson, age 67 went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, February 20, 2019. Patsy, a lifelong resident of Chadwick, was born August 13, 1951 to Glen and Mary Butler (Mincks) of Chadwick. Patsy was united in marriage to Emmitt Jackson on February 2, 1973 and their union was blessed with one son, Kevin.
Patsy had many titles, she was Honey to her loving husband, Mom to her precious son and daughter- in- law, Nana to her grandkids who were her entire world and finally a title she boasted proudly about, The Chadwick Road deer serial killer!! Pasty was an incredible cook and took pride in preparing meals for her family. When her son, nieces and nephews were growing up, she always had foil burgers, strawberry shakes and a cake some kind waiting for them in the kitchen. Patsy was a loving, stubborn, strong willed and extremely funny woman. If you gave her surprising news you would always hear her exclaim “What!!” Patsy proudly worked at Fasco in Ozark for 27 years and most recently was employed at Mercy Hospital for 10 years.
Patsy was preceded in death by her parents, Glen and Mary Butler as well as her brother Dewayne Butler.
Patsy is survived by her husband Emmitt Jackson of Chadwick, her son Kevin Jackson and wife Soravia “T” of Nixa; her grandchildren Isaiah Gulick, Gage Gulick, and Kiah Jackson all of Nixa; a sister Barbara Killingsworth and husband Roscoe of Walnut Grove;a brother Jerry Butler and wife Vicky of Highlandville; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family.
Funeral services for Patsy will be 1:00 P.M. Monday, February 25, 2019 in Mound Baptist Church with Pastor Bill Dowell officiating. Burial will follow in Hall Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Arrangements under the care and direction of Barnes Family Funeral Home, Ozark. Online condolences may be shared at www.barnesfamilyfunerals.com.
