Randall Jiles Andrews, age 68 of Sparta, Missouri passed away, Friday, August 25, 2023, at Sunset Fields Nursing Home in Rogersville, Missouri. Randy was born October 14, 1954, to Jerry Jiles Andrews and Roberta Mae Curtis. He graduated from Logan Rogersville High School and worked for many years as an automobile mechanic.
On October 17, 1987, Randy was united in marriage to Leona Sue Messick, who preceded him in death on October 5, 2007. They enjoyed traveling backroads on their Honda Goldwing and were members of the Gold Wind Riders of America. Randy gave up riding after a liver transplant in 2004.
Randy had a good eye for collecting guns, knives, and rare coins. He had a love for the outdoors and was an avid deer hunter, turkey hunter and fisherman. In recent years, a favorite pastime was fishing on his boat with a special friend, Jessica.
Randy was a member of Cassidy United Methodist Church in Nixa, Missouri where he enjoyed the Men’s Ministry and helping with Vacation Bible School.
In addition to his wife Sue, Randy was also preceded in death by his father. Randy is survived by his mother and sister Laurie Andrews and husband John Stidham, II.
A memorial service will be held at Cassidy United Methodist Church in Nixa, Missouri, at 10:00 AM. Friday, October 6, 2023. Cremation and arrangements are under the care and direction of Barnes Family Funeral Home, Ozark, Missouri.
