Richard Bryan Alling April 1, 1958 - June 12, 2012

Richard Bryan Alling, age 54, of Ozark, Mo, passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2012 after a long battle with cancer. Rick was born on April 1, 1958 in Pasadena, California the son of Robert Marshall and Virgina Bernadine Alling. Rick graduated in 1986 from Cal State Long Beach with a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial technology- construction technology. After a successful career in California, he moved the family to Missouri in 2002 to work on the Branson Landing. Most recently, he was employed by DeWitt Associates and worked on several projects in the community. He loved his family, being a husband and father, his friends and his DeWitt family and appreciated their support during his four year battle with cancer. He is preceded in death by his daughter Rachelle Bryn Alling and his parents. He is survived by his wife, Alesia; son Derrick Bryton; brother David Alling and his wife Carla and nephew Michael Alling. Rick had hundreds of friends who will miss him dearly. Visitation was held Saturday, June 16, 2012 in Barnes Family Funeral Home, Ozark at 1:00 p.m. followed by a celebration of his life starting at 2:00 p.m. Memorial contributions to the Alling family can be made at any Liberty Bank location.
