Richard (Rick) Dean Morgan of Ozark, Missouri (formerly of Eads, Colorado) passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at the age of 71. Rick was born August 9, 1952 in Eads, Colorado the son of Richard Lee and Bonita Jean (Drake) Morgan, of Haswell, Colorado. He attended school in Kit Carson, Colorado and graduated high school in 1970. He then attended Northwest Kansas Area Vocational Technical School in Goodland, Kansas and graduated with his Certificate of Auto Mechanics.
In 1970 he was united in marriage to Vicki Holcomb of Eads, Colorado. To this union two children were born, Amy LaVonne (Gourley) and Bradley Dean. Richard later married Bonnie Parmer of Burlington, Colorado, adding adult children, Dennis and Denise Wheeler.
Richard spent most of his spare-time working in his garage upgrading and detailing his restored vehicles. He loved to attend car shows and mingle with fun-loving people.
Richard is survived by his children Amy Gourley and Brad Morgan, stepchildren Dennis and Denise Wheeler, 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
A Celebration of Life for Richard will be held in Eads, Colorado, Saturday, February 3, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at the Kiowa Count Community Building, 15103 US Hwy 287, Eads, Colorado.
