Ricky Dean Dennis, age 56 of Mountain Grove, Missouri passed away early Thursday morning in his home. He was born March 31, 1957 the son of Carl and Irene (Hargus) Dennis. On February 20, 2010 he was united in marriage to Kimberly (Langley) Dennis. Rick proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy and received an honorable discharge. Throughout his life, he held various jobs but his passion was being an E.M.T. and fireman. He dedicated his entire life to helping people, whether it was protecting homes and property from fire or lending $5 for gas, Rick was well-known for his big heart. Rick was the youngest of four children and nothing matter more to him than family. He enjoyed playing his guitar, harmonica, restoring antique furniture, and bragging about his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Kimberly, his son Ricky Dennis and his partner Michael and children Devin, Shaun and Gage; daughter Chasidy Chiantaretto and husband Lewis and children Lance and Cole; brother Tom Dennis and wife Jane, sister Linda Heard and husband Jerry, sister Deb Pogue and husband Danny; step-daughter Diana Grogan and children Devin, Skyla, Shayla; step-son Thomas Grogan and wife Allie and son Kaiden; step-daughter Crystal Shockey and husband Jacob and children Kaleb, Carter, and Tyler; step-daughter Brittany Grogan and children Kolton and Karson; and step-son Chris. Rick is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other caring relatives and many friends. Funeral services were 12:30p.m. Tuesday, July 16, 2013 in Ozark Mountain United Pentecostal Church, Ozark with Pastor Jerry Heard and Pastor Jerry Newman officiating. Visitation was held one hour prior to service time in the church. Burial followed with full military honors and fireman honors in Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield.
