Ronald Harrison August 8, 1939 - March 30, 2019

Ronald Eldon Harrison, age 79 passed away in his sleep early Saturday morning, March 30, 2019.  He was comfortable at his home in Greene County, and community of  Elwood, Missouri. He was born August 8, 1939 in Alton, Missouri the son of Denver and Verble Harrison. His life was long and full. He proudly served in the United States Army, worked on the pipeline in Alaska, worked as a glazier and book keeper for Local Union #2015 and ran his own Angus farm. Even though he enjoyed a busy life, he most importantly built and maintained countless relationships with those close to him.

Ron is survived by his wife of 58 years Wanda Harrison; two daughters Rhonda Harrison and Rebecca Bounous; grandson Alexander Harrison; granddaughter Breanna Blacksher and countless others to whom he served the role of father in all aspects except genetics.

Memorial funeral services for Ron will be 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 3, 2019 in Barnes Family Funeral Home, Ozark. Visitation will be 6:00 P.M. Wednesday until service time in the funeral home. Online condolences may be shared at www.barnesfamilyfunerals.com.
