Ross Bush January 24, 1963 - November 5, 2023

Date of Funeral

November 9, 2023

Van Ross Bush Jr., age 60, of Nixa, Missouri passed away Sunday, November 5, 2023, surrounded by loved ones. He was born January 24, 1963, to Alice (Johnson) Atkins and Van Ross Bush, Sr. in Branson, Missouri. Ross was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, Marie and Lawrence Kinyon; son Larkin Bush; and grand-dog Pocahontas.

Ross proudly served in the United States Army in 1980 and went on to become an over-the-road truck driver until he met his wife, Renda. On September 29, 1990, he was united in marriage to Renda Coffer. Together they welcomed three children into the world, Clayton (1983), Sarah (1991), and Larkin (1992). Ross was a jack of all trades and enjoyed lending a helping hand when needed. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, who always put his family first. Ross enjoyed fishing, the Pittsburg Stealers, watching Halloween movies, traveling, spending time with his grandchildren, and making his wife blush. He loved a good joke, and he loved laughing even more. Ross is survived by his loving wife, Renda (Coffer) Bush; his children Clayton (Whitney), Sarah (Matthew), Shawna (Burks) Bush; grandchildren Knox, Keagan, Gavin, Zaylea, Zayden, Zander, Khloe, Karlee, and Kora; grand-dog Cricket; siblings George, Elizabeth, and Kenny (Jill); aunt and uncle Donna, and Phillip (Nancy); and many loving nieces, nephews, and in-laws.

A Celebration of Life Memorial service will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, November 9, 2023, in Barnes Family Funeral Home Ozark, Missouri. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service.
