Roy Max Smith, Jr. age 51 of Reeds Spring, Missouri went to be with the Lord Thursday, January 28, 2021 after a short illness. He was born May 13, 1969 in Springfield, Missouri the son of Roy Max Smith, Sr. and Bonnie Rae (Martin) Smith.
Roy enjoyed being a self-employed brickmason and working to repair small engines or lawn mowers. He also loved family gatherings, fishing and drawing. Approximately four years ago Roy was saved and became a born again Christian. He often shared his faith with others but his greatest pleasure came from reading or listening to audio Bible recordings. Roy will be sadly missed but will live on forever in the hearts of his loving family and friends.
Roy is survived by wife Mechell Smith; son Tyler Smith; two step-sons Josh Bussard and James Mincks; four sisters Maxine Townlian, Sandra Kay Sawyer, Bonita Faye Jones and Dawn LeAnn Smith; one brother Wesley Cleo Smith; four grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends. Roy was preceded in death by his parents, brother LeRoy Smith, sister Sherry Smith and brother-in-law Fredie James Townlian.
