Jimmy “Steven” Roy Williams, age 18, of Rogersville, Missouri went home to be with his Heavenly Father Saturday, March 23, 2024. Steven was born July 9, 2005, the son of Jimmy and Janel (Tennis) Williams.

Steven was a determined individual who set high goals and successfully graduated early in 2024, from Logan Rogersville High School. He was in pursuit of a career in the automotive

industry while working in the garage along with his dad and being employed with O’Reilly Auto Parts in Rogersville. Beyond his love for engines, Steven had a zest for life that was infectious. He could often be found engaging in conversations about guns, football, wrestling, UFC, MMA and fireworks. Any of these topics ignited his spirit and allowed him to connect with others. Steven loved to tell people he was basically an only child for the past eight years, being the center of his Mom and Dad’s whole world. Steven loved spending time with his family making fun memories.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather Jimmy LeRoy Williams and great-grandparents Charles and Juanita Ewing.

Steven is lovingly survived by his parents, Jimmy and Janel Williams; two sisters Chelsea Tinsley and husband Jeremy and Taylor Williams and Matthew Yoder; two nephews Cooper and Owen Tinsley; grandparents Bill and Phyllis Tennis; grandmother Jean Williams; Uncle Larry and Aunt Shelly; cousins Tyler, Dalisa and Kinzley; many extended family members and loving friends.

Funeral services for Steven will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, March 28, 2024 in Barnes Family Funeral Home, Ozark, Missouri. Visitation will begin at noon Thursday until service time in the funeral home. Online condolences may be shared at www.barnesfamilyfunerals.com.

    Steven,
    Back all the way when I met you as your coach in Mighty Mites, you had a smile and an infectious manner that made everyone around you like you. Our family loved having you over. Watching you grow into a young man was truly a gift. I enjoyed our conversations at Oreillys as well. I pray you are at peace in Gods arms. We love you Bud.

    Steven was my speech student for several years when he was at the primary school, and he had a very special place in my heart.

    Janel and family, I have no words to express how very sorry I am. As I subbed all through Steven’s high school years, I frequently had him in class and enjoyed getting to know him. I pray God wraps his loving arms around you and beings you peace as only He can.

    Such a sad day. I work in Oreilly Corporate in Store Operations and had the privilege in working with Steven a few times when I was out at the store. Steven was one of the best Store Team Members we could ask for. He always worked so hard to take care of his customers. You will be missed my friend.

    My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. I met Steven at the O’Reilly store and was amazed at what an outstanding young man he was and how knowledgeable he was. He was one of the best team members I have worked with at O’Reillys and I know he will be greatly missed.

      I really enjoyed seeing him at the camp outs and connecting with him about fireworks. He was fun to talk to and share fireworks stories. He knew his fireworks and could identify them by sight. He will be missed. So sorry for your loss.

    The Taylor family is heartbroken for your loss. Steven was always so kind when me or my family were at the garage. Watching Steven grow up was a pleasure he was a caring soul. Your entire family is in our thoughts and prayers.
