Susanne Groh June 16, 1941 - December 3, 2012

Susanne Groh, 71, Bruner, MO passed away Monday, December 3, 2012 in her home. She was born June 16, 1941 in Queens Village, New York the daughter of Thomas and Marion (Sweeney) Carmody. On April 29, 1961, she was united in marriage to Robert Groh and this union was blessed with four wonderful children. Susanne dedicated her life to her husband and family. She was a wonderful wife, loving mother and a special grandmother. She loved going to church and was a long time member of McHaffie Church. Susanne was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sister Virginia Wehle and brother Thomas Carmody. Susanne is survived by her daughter Lisa Hale and husband Joe; three sons Robert Groh, Jeffery Groh and wife Jeanne, Thomas Groh and wife Kara all of Bruner; eight grandchildren Dustin, Aaron and Calee Dollarhide; La Kiesha, Tayikah, Ignaytious, Cody and Kaven Groh; five great-grandchildren Mackenzie, Tanner, Adison, Evin and Kasen Dollarhide, other caring relatives and a wonderful church family. Funeral services were held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 5, 2012 in Barnes Family Funeral Home, with Russell Heatherly officiating. Burial followed in Bruner Cemetery.
