Tami Jo (Hillen) Smith, age 47 of Ozark, Missouri passed away Sunday, December 29, 2024 with her loving family and friends by her side. She was born November 17, 1977 in Springfield, Missouri. The daughter of Stephen and Sandy Hillen.
Tami was a 23 year employee at Chase Bank. Her greatest joy was attending church and teaching Sunday School. She accepted Christ and was baptized at Sunrise Baptist Church in Ozark, Missouri.
Tami was joined in marriage to Joshua Smith on April 29, 2011. Her children were the light of her life. Tami’s biggest ambitions were growing closer to the Lord and spends as much time with her friends and family. Tami never knew a stranger and was loved by all who met her. Her generous kind heart touched many.
Tami is preceded in death by her father Stephen Hillen, who she loved and missed dearly, her stepfather Bill Johnson and stepmother Betty Hillen.
Tami is survived by her loving family; husband Joshua; three children Elicia, Olivia and William; mother Sandy Johnson; brothers Mike Hillen and wife Karla, Denny Hillen and wife Nikki; stepsisters Anita Cockrum and husband Brad, Angie Lippold and husband Rod; father and mother-in-law Nathan and Sharri Smith, brother-in-law Kris Smith; countless other aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends she dearly loved.
Funeral services for Tami will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 11, 2025 at First Baptist Church, 105 Kennedy Ave., Clever, Missouri 65631. Visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. until service time in the church. Online condolences may be shared at www.barnesfamilyfunerals.com.
