Jeanette Louise Doran, age 82, lifelong resident of Ozark, Missouri, went to her heavenly home surrounded by her loving family, Sunday, September 11, 2022 at 10:45pm. She was born June 1, 1940 in Springfield Missouri, the daughter of Jewell (Herndon) Clark and Roy Clark.
Jeanette was a 1958 graduate of Ozark High School. On June 12 1960, Jeanette was united in marriage to Wesley Doran and to this union two daughters were born.
Jeanette worked alongside her husband Wesley as an agent for Shelter Insurance for 48 years. Jeanette was involved in the Cosmopolitan Club, the Ozark High School All High Reunion Committee, and enjoyed a monthly luncheon with a group of ladies from her high school graduation class.
Jeanette was baptized and continued to be a member of Selmore Baptist Church. She was a faithful servant, greeting people with her kind and loving smile, helping in the nursery, and was involved in various church activities throughout the year. She loved dining out, shopping with her daughters and grand kids, and was always ready to take an adventure with friends. Her laughter and quick wit were present even until her final hours. She was a true testament in her Faith and Love for Christ.
Jeanette is survived by her two daughters, Debbie Golding of Springfield, Missouri and Leanette Harrington and husband, Joby, of Clever, Missouri. She was known as Nannie to three grandchildren Jake Harrington and wife Paige of Argyle, Texas, Hillary Reid and husband Dustin of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and Dalton Golding and girlfriend Morgan Conner of Kansas City, Missouri. She has 4 precious great-grandchildren, Jett Harrington, Harper Harrington, Cooper Harrington, and Marin Reid. Jeanette was the youngest of three siblings and is survived by her two brothers John Clark and Gary Clark. Jeanette was preceded in death by her loving husband, Wesley Doran and parents Jewell Martin and husband Leonard and Roy Clark.
Jeanette’s family would like to express their deepest gratitude to her caring physician, Dr. Thomas Rossiter, the medical team at Barnes Jewish Hospital in Saint Louis, Missouri, and the wonderful staff at Integrity Hospice Care. If you feel lead, please make donations to Selmore Baptist Church or the charity of your choice.
