Arthur L. Spradling, 83, of Ozark, Missouri passed away Sunday, January 22, 2017 in Nixa Nursing and Rehabilitation. Arthur was born March 14, 1933, in Chadwick, the son of Arthur W. and Violet (Cobb) Spradling. On December 22, 1956 he was united in marriage to Lola Triplett and to this union three daughters were born. After high school, Arthur enlisted as a member of the United States Army, proudly serving his country and was honorably discharged. He later retired from Ash Grove Aggregates after being a faithful employee for 22 years. Arthur’s love for animals was unwavering especially for cats and dogs. Family vacations in Florida were always enjoyed and treasured by Arthur. He also loved his many additional travels and he especially loved to fish. Arthur was a dedicated husband, caring and loving father and will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Arthur is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Lola; three daughters Lisa Richards and husband Jeff of Ozark, Terrie Gates and husband Dean of Nixa and Brenda Agee of Marionville; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two brothers Johnny Spradling and Lyle Spradling; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; twin brother Archie and sister Norma Sisco. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 25, 2017, in Barnes Family Funeral Home, Ozark with Pastor Tom Sisco officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow in Selmore Cemetery.
