Betty Palmer November 17, 1920 - March 8, 2016

Baby Girl O’Neil, later named Betty, was the youngest child and only daughter of William J. And Caroline (Burns) O’Neil. Betty was born November 17, 1920 in Oliva, Minnesota. She presently resided in Sparta, Missouri where she passed away Tuesday morning, March 8, 2016 at the age of 95 years 3 months and 20 days. On April 11, 1950 she was united in marriage to the love of her life, Ernest Carrol Palmer. This union was blessed with four children, Thomas Palmer and wife Sheila, Anna Dorman and husband William, Helen Brown, Carrie Brown and husband Arlow. Betty also adored her 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers Joseph and William, grandson Matthew Brown and son-in-law Robert Brown. Funeral services for Betty will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, March 11, 2016 in Barnes Family Funeral Home, Ozark with Father Scott Sunnenberg officiating. Burial will follow in Monger Cemetery. Visitation will be 12:00 noon to 1:00 P.M. Friday.
