Jimmy Dean Loveland was born April 6, 1939, at Sparta, Missouri the son of Clarence Ben and Franc Marie (Stull) Loveland. He passed from this life Sunday, March 6, 2016 at the age of 76 years and eleven months. Jim was a retired truck driver and his passion in life was to tell others about Christ. When you visited with him you never went home without first holding hands and having prayer. He loved giving Bibles and Gospel tapes to everyone around him and played those gospel tapes for all who cared to listen. He is survived by four brothers, Raymond Loveland and wife Betty of Rogersville, Don Loveland of Ozark, Jack Loveland and wife Murt of Sparta and Jerry Loveland and wife Donna of Ava; two sisters Betty Jean Stull of Sparta and Mary Lou Carey and husband James of Ozark. Jim was also a loving Uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, Alice Sanders, Carole Sue Workman, Dorothy Loveland; one brother J.C Loveland and one brother-in-law, Ted Stull. Jim was a Christian and was baptized into The Church of Christ. He was friendly to all and never met a stranger. He especially loved being a witness for the Lord. Memorial contributions may be made to The Gideon’s International in Jim’s memory. Graveside services will be held 2:00 P.M., Saturday, March 19, in Sparta Cemetery, Sparta.
