Bobby Dean Forrest, age 73 of Ozark, Missouri passed away Monday, July 4, 2022, in Mercy Hospital, Springfield, Missouri. He was born December 14, 1948, in Modesto, California, the son of Willard and Lorene (Hicks) Forrest. On February 10, 1984, Bob was united in marriage to the love of his life, Terri Payne.
Bob was a well-known Christian County resident and former businessman. During 1986 to 2012, Bob and Terri owned and operated Ozark Tire. He was a generous man and willingly helped others without being recognized. His big heart led to a strong bond and complete attachment to loving his best friend and favorite rescue dog, Coco. Bob will be sadly missed but his loving memory will live on forever in the hearts of his wonderful family and friends.
Bob is survived by his loving wife, Terri; three daughters Heather VanHorn and husband Tom, Lisa Moore and husband Terry, Lyndsey Childers and Dr. Ben Childers; two sons Matthew Forrest and wife Tracy, Rusty Forrest and Chelsea; sister Reba Greer and husband Mike; brother Gordon Forrest and wife Helen; 12 grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and many caring friends.
