Bonnie Rae Smith, age 71 of Ozark, Missouri went to be with the Lord early Wednesday morning in Cox South Hospital, Springfield. She was born December 31, 1942 in Nowata, Oklahoma the daughter of Elmer and Arvella (Simpson) Martin. She was united in marriage to Roy Smith and was a loving mother to their six children. Bonnie was a devoted employee to Fasco Industries for over 23 years and spent her life caring for her family. She was a devoted wife and caring mother and enjoyed attending to all their needs and activities. Bonnie will be dearly missed and fondly remembered for her loving nature. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Johnny and Elmer Lee Martin and two sisters Peggy Morisset and Rovina Gideon. Bonnie is survived by her husband Roy, six children Bonita Jones, Dawn LeAnn Smith, Maxine Townlian and husband Fred, Sandra Sawyer, Wesley Smith, Roy Smith Jr. and wife Mechell; six sisters Wilma Dean Clinton, Vicky Moody, Linda Letterman, Veronica Rice, Penny Bowers and Kristian King; one brother Danny Martin; fourteen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, other caring relatives and several friends. Graveside funeral services will be 11:30a.m. Friday, August 29, 2014 in Selmore Cemetery with Pastor Gary Jennings officiating. Arrangements under the direction of Barnes Family Funeral Home, Ozark. Visitation will be Friday, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home with burial to follow. On line condolences may be shared at www.barnesfamilyfunerals.com.
