Carolyn Sue Collins April 25, 1943 - October 28, 2011

Carolyn Sue Collins, 68, Ozark, Missouri passed away Friday, October 28, 2011 in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 25, 1943, the daughter of Don and Mattie ( Simpson ) Goans. On December 22, 1989 she was united in marriage to the love of her life, Barney Collins. Carolyn loved the Lord and dedicated her life to serving Him by spreading his word and singing his praises. Her kindness, patience and unconditional love are her legacy that will survive her within the many hearts she touched. Carolyn will be remembered as a beautiful lady that loved her family, friends and family in Christ and they will all sincerely miss and cherish their memories of her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Don and Mattie Goans and a brother, Wallace Goans. Carolyn is lovingly survived by her husband, Barney Collins, of Ozark; four daughters, Leasha Pulley of Ozark, Teresa Knight of Nixa, Laura O’Bannon and husband Tony of Okay, OK and Brenda Grier of Lebanon, one sister Vera Meese of Clever, three brothers Wayne, Jim and Jerry Goans all of Lebanon, ten grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends. The brightest light has gone out, but her family will celebrate her loving sprit forever. “Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another” 1 John 4:11
