Celia Atchison January 7, 1926 - July 28, 2014

Celia Atchison, age 88 of Ozark, Missouri passed away Monday, July 28, 2014 in Christian Health Care of Nixa. She was born January 7, 1926 the daughter of Robert and Ida Carter. On July 2, 1963 she was united in marriage to Melvin Leon Atchison and this marriage was blessed for 47 years until Marvin’s death on November 13, 2010. Celia was an Ozark resident for over twenty years, moving to the Ozarks from Tennessee. She worked as a care giver to others her entire life and positively impacted everyone she cared for with a blessing. She was loved by many friends and family and especially her grandchildren Jordan, Jacob and Jenna Yaggy. Celia will be missed by her family, church members and Ozark Meadows friends. Graveside funeral services will be 10:00a.m. Monday, August 4, 2014 in Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield. Celia will be laid to rest with her husband Melvin.
