Charlene Rocco September 3, 1939 - March 13, 2018

Charlene “Charlie” Rocco, age 78 of Ozark, Missouri went to Heaven, Tuesday, March 13, 2018. She was born September 3, 1939 in Ponce de Leon, Missouri the daughter of Charles Steele and Faye Sartin Steele. Charlie was a member and sister in Christ at Hill Top Calvary Church at Ponce de Leon. For many years, Charlie was employed at Keebler Factory as a line worker, but her true passion and love was for children. Her huge heart enabled her to be a dedicated and caring foster Mother to many children. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing, traveling, bowling, bingo and arts and crafts. Charlie’s legacy continues through her surviving children. She leaves behind, three daughters Nancy, Sherry and Keely, one son James as well as a multitude of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and sister Gwen. Charlie was preceded in death by her parents, stepfather Alva Garrett, sister Maxine, husband and father of her children James Wilson, husband and father of her children John Rocco and two beloved sons Rick and Scott. Memorial Celebration of Life services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, March 19, 2018 in Barnes Family Funeral Home, Ozark. Visitation will be held in the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
