Tammie Jane (McCarty) Donahoo, age 58 of Fordland, Missouri passed away Thursday, March 15, 2018 in Sparta, Missouri with her loving family by her side. She was born August 17, 1959 in Cushing, Oklahoma. Tammie graduated from Sparta High School and attended MSU. Her longtime 30 year career was spent as a dedicated employee in the Nursing Home Industry where she enjoyed being Activity Director. During her spare time, Tammie enjoyed going to the casinos with her parents, shopping at thrift stores and traveling. Tammie loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and will be greatly missed by all of her family. Tammie is survived by her son Russell Dean Anderson and fiancé Jennifer; daughters Carrie Jane Anderson-Lingle and husband Preston of Canyon TX, Angie Dawn Donahoo of Waurike, OK; grandchildren Ty and Caileigh Lingle, Lane Lingle, Michaela and Stephen Demerritt, K.J. and Kate Augestein, Codie, Levi, and Danielle Anderson, Tay and Addie Sims, Stormie, Wendie, Landon, Autumn and Alan Donahoo; and four great-grandchildren. Tammie is also survived by her loving parents Don and Betty McCarty; one brother Donald O. (Opie) McCarty and wife Debbie; five sisters Babbi Coffer and husband Mark, Deb Roders and husband Marc, Jamie Edelman, Cheryl Jackson and husband Bud, Leslie Crysel and husband Mike; several special nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Tammie was preceded by her husband Dustin Donahoo and her paternal and maternal grandparents. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 20, 2018 in Barnes Family Funeral Home, Ozark with Pastor Jeremy Gilbert officiating. Tammie will be laid to rest beside her husband, Dustin Donahoo, in the Sparta Cemetery.     My thoughts and prayers to all of Tammie’s family I’ve known Tammie since about 1993 , I am also an activity Director,( myself , Lynette Adams, Rebecca York,) have spent a lot of time with Tammie throughout the years, as we are the Ozark Chapter A.D.A.M. Activities Directors Association of Missouri, we had a lot of fun together at conventions, meetings, and loved Tammie very much our sincere love to everyone, were glad Tammie was a blast at casinos, were so glad Tammie gained a new family and she spoke of those grandkids all the time when we went to conventions,
