Clark Lee Latimer, age 67 of Nixa, Missouri passed away, Monday evening, May 13, 2024, in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born May 19, 1956 in Springfield, Missouri the son of John and Samantha (Brown) Latimer.
Clark was a dedicated employee for Burlington Northern Railroad for most of his life. After retirement he especially enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid fisherman and hunter. Whether it was floating down a river or in a canoe or fishing on the lake he loved the water! Clark loved NHRA Racing, hanging out in his shop and spending time with his family. Clark was always around to help a friend and loved it when his buddies stopped by to have a cold one. As Clark would often say “Everyday is a holiday and every meal is a buffet, and the main thing is not to get excited.”
Clark was preceded in death by his parents. He is lovingly survived by his two daughter Tiffany Eggleston and husband Jarrad and Jessica Knactal and husband Dan; two honorary sons Kaleb Whorton and Eric Latimer; six grandchildren Haden Wammack, Conner Knactal, Hallie Wammack, Emmalin Eggleston, Hoyt Wammack and Nolan Eggleston; two brothers Wayne Latimer and Steve Latimer and wife Lorie; many nieces, nephews and loving friends.
Following Clark’s wishes a private family funeral with burial in Springfield was held under the care and direction of Barnes Family Funeral Home, Ozark, Missouri.
