Vonda Laverne Hall, age 88 of Oldfield, Missouri passed away Saturday morning, May 25, 2024, in Cox South Hospital, Springfield, Missouri. Laverne was born May 22, 1936 the daughter of Stanford “Pete” and Edna Hawkins. On August 1, 1955, she was united in marriage to Jerry Hall, who preceded her in death, August 12, 2013. They were blessed to celebrate 58 years of marriage together before Jerry’s death.

Laverne was employed at Fasco Industries in Ozark, Missouri for 33 years.  After retirement, she enjoyed working in her yard with her flowers and garden.  She loved sewing, antiquing, and camping.  Laverne also enjoyed spending time with her family and attended Goodhope Baptist Church.

Laverne was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Jerry.  Laverne is survived by three sons, Ronald Hall and wife Debbie of Ava, Gary Hall and wife Trish of Ava, Terry Hall and wife Wendi of Oldfield; grandchildren, Ronda Hall, Kim Clevenger and husband Tyler, Dr. Clint Hall and wife Shelby, Colton Hall and fiancée Cassie Lynch, Summar Reed and husband Brandon, Levi Hall and wife Jessica, Tessa Nelson and husband David, and Justin Gentile; great-grandchildren, Kaylee Hall, Avery, Luke, and Huxton Clevenger, Scarlett and Rolen Hall, Gavin Reed and wife Grace, Blake Reed, Marshall, Maverick, and Memphis Hall, Jounery Nelson, and Cole Gentile; great-great-grandson, Stetson Gentile. Laverne is also survived by two brothers; Ivan Hawkins and wife Nancy, and Gorman Hawkins; one sister Janice Hankins and husband Kenneth; several nieces, nephews, many dear friends and caring relatives.  Laverne will be dearly missed but her loving memory will live on in the hearts of her wonderful family.

Funeral services for Laverne will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, May 31, 2024, in Barnes Family Funeral Home with Pastor James Orick officiating. A burial will follow in Hall cemetery.
