Connie Jean Blevins July 12, 1942 - July 25, 2021

Connie Jean (Snider) Blevins, age 74 of Sparta, Missouri passed away peacefully and supported by her children, Sunday, July 25, 2021, in Cox Medical Center Branson, of Branson, Missouri. She was born July 12, 1947 in Bruner, Missouri the daughter of Gene Snider of Oldfield, Missouri and Francis Kathryne (Abbot) Stutesmun of Highlandville, Missouri. On April 15, 1991, Connie was united in marriage to James Roland Blevins. No children were born to this union and Connie fulfilled her vows until death, as promised to her husband and Heavenly Father.

Connie was very talented and held many interests including interior decorating, caretaking, artistry and singing songs she had written. She took a deep interest in the Bible and dug into its contents to find the deeper truths. Connie was blessed with a big heart of being compassionate and had an awareness for understanding people.

In addition to her husband James Roland Blevins, Connie is also survived by her children, three sons Dickie Winslow and wife Dawn of Forsyth, Missouri, Roy Hopkins and wife Regina of Ponce De Leon, Missouri, Matthew Hopkins and wife Kim of Highlandville, Missouri; one daughter Barbara (Winslow) Lance of Ozark, Missouri.

Connie is also survived by a beloved brother Gary Applegate; ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and true friends. Connie was preceded in death by her parents and a beloved brother Mike Applegate of Highlandville, Missouri.

Connie will be missed beyond measure, but she will be rejoined with her dear family someday, but for now, her memory will live on forever in the hearts of her loving family members. The family extends a special thank you to the COVID-19 Unit at Cox Medical Center Branson of Branson, Missouri for their compassionate care for of Connie during her final days.

Arrangements for Connie are under the care and direction of Barnes Family Funeral Home, Ozark, Missouri. Memorial Celebration of Life services will be held at a later date. On line condolences may be shared at www.barnesfamilyfunerals.com
