David “Dave” Grace January 20, 1962 - April 8, 2018

Barnes Family Funerals - David "Dave" Grace

David “Dave” Grace, age 56, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 8, 2018, at his home in Chadwick, Missouri. He was born on January 20, 1962, in Indianapolis, Indiana, the son of Wayne Grace and Carol (Carnahan) Grace. On September 14, 2010, he was united in marriage to Brandy Grace. Dave was a general contractor and the owner of David Grace Construction, Inc. He enjoyed working on the farm with Brandy, spending time with family and was looking forward to being a Pawpaw. Early in the morning you could find Dave on the porch talking to his dad. Dave never met a stranger and was quick to make friends. If he was picking at you, you were one of the many he called “friend.” Dave is survived by his wife, Brandy, of eight years; daughter Lauren Earhart and husband Kyle and soon to be born granddaughter Sutton Grey; parents Wayne and Carol Grace; in-laws Rhonda and Eugene Maggard; and Jeri and David Day; nieces Tara Wynn and husband R.J.; Lindsey Gallagher and husband Sean; Hope, Jentri, and Treylyn; nephews Ethan, Gage, Luke, Lance and Jesse; great nieces Karis, Giselle, Brielle, Revayah; great nephews Javen, Kynan, Zephaniah, and Caelum; and many other caring relatives and friends. Dave was preceded in death by his sister Darlene Smith; his paternal Grandma and Grandpa Grace and his maternal Grandma and Grandpa Carnahan. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Thursday, April 12, 2018 in Barnes Family Funeral Home, 1700 South 15th Avenue, Ozark, Missouri. Memorial funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, April 14, 2018 in Harvest Church, 6450 36th Avenue NW, Norman, Oklahoma. Online condolences may be shared at www.barnesfamilyfunerals.com.

Our heart breaks with you. I have never lost a child and can’t imagine what you have lost. I know Bro and Sis Grace are like parents to me and she has said so many time I reminded her of David. She told me that since he was in OKC and MO I’d have to put up with her mommying me some. David I know we met and were introduced as Brothers by your Parents, I did not know you well and sure wished we could have gotten to really know each other. To your wife and your daughter- We grieve with you and pray for you both. I am sure the loss is easy. I have lost a mom and a brother, but not my dad or spouse. I know we are in Indianapolis, but I mean this if we can ever be a help to you, please reach out to us. We’d be honored. God’s peace be on you and His loving arms hold you. Eric and Stacy Housman SSPL.
