Diane Marie (Deitering) Stalzer, 83, of Ozark, Missouri passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2024 surrounded by family. She was born May 6, 1940, the daughter of the late Emery and Evelyn Deitering. On June 6, 1959 Diane was united in marriage to Richard Francis Stalzer.
Following Richard’s service in the United States Air Force, they returned to Illinois where they raised their five children, Richard F. Jr., Timothy J. and wife Lana, Elizabeth J. and husband Richard, Michael E. and wife Shannon and Joseph A. and wife Shelia.
Diane was an accomplished artist, she enjoyed sharing her paintings with everyone, she was also an avid reader, loved the outdoors and her pets.
Diane is survived by her five children, 13 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, brother Don and wife Mary Ann, numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard, parents, sisters Joanne and Jane, brother Bob, granddaughter Magdalyn, grandson Joseph and great-grandson Benjamin.
Richard and Diane’s wishes were to be interred together at the Missouri Veteran’s Cemetery, Springfield, Missouri. Arrangements under the care and direction of Barnes Family Funeral Home, Ozark, Missouri. Online condolences may be shared at www.barnesfamilyfunerals.com.
