Esther C. Bailey, age 76 of Ozark, Missouri, passed away Thursday, March 28,2013, in Ozarks Community Hospital, Springfield. She was born April 27,1936 the daughter of Charles and Hazel (Smith) Cary. Esther was a longtime employee of Wal-Mart where she worked as a claims clerk. She was multi-talented with cross stitch, sewing and also enjoyed crossword puzzles and scrap booking. Esther was a veteran and proudly served her country as a member of the United States Air Force. Esther is survived by her daughter Karen Nichols and husband Doug of St. Charles; two sons Kenneth Bailey and wife Karen of Paughkeepsie, NY and Bryan Bailey and wife Sharon of Sherwood, AR; three sisters Rebecca Keen, Margaret Holden and Priscilla Cary; two brothers Rodney and Paul Cary; several other caring relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Beverly and two brothers Robert and Randall. Graveside funeral services were held at 2:30p.m.Tuesday, April 2, 2013 in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield with full military honors.
