Terrie Jo Swineburg, age 56 of Springfield, MO passed away Sunday, March 3, 2013 surrounded by her family. Terrie was born December 20, 1956 in Big Springs, TX the daughter of the late Charles and Mary Swineburg. She grew up in Sparta and later made her home in Springfield where she spent many years as a waitress and enjoyed being a mother and grandmother. Terrie will be dearly missed by her family and many friends. Terrie is survived by her beloved friend Lenny Holm of Springfield; three children, a son Ethan Swineburg of Springfield, daughter Jessica Giles and husband Rick, and daughter Shilo Smith and husband Tom all of Ozark, four grandchildren Chloe and Ellee Giles, Jalyn and Quinton Smith; one brother William “Bill” Swineburg. Terrie was preceded in death by a sister Rebecca Scott. Friends and family will gather at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, March 7, 2013 in Sparta Cemetery for Terrie’s internment. Flowers and gifts of love may be sent to Barnes Family Funeral Home, PO Box 796, Ozark, MO 65721. Cremation was under the care of Barnes Family Funeral Home, Ozark.
