Galina (Makarchuk) Hibbard, age 59 of Ozark, Missouri passed away peacefully in her home, Tuesday afternoon, December 21, 2021. She was born December 22, 1961 in Ukraine the daughter of Ivan and Anna Mararchuk. On February 14, 2010 she was united in marriage to her sweetheart, Warren Hibbard.
Galina came to America as a refugee on March 12, 1990, taking residence in Portland, Oregon. She was employed with U.S. Bank where she worked and held many different positions. Galina found great pleasure in gardening, sharing family time and gatherings. She was the best wife, mother and grandmother she could be, always sharing her strength, grace, faith and love with her family and friends. Galina also enjoyed attending Bread of Life Church of Rogersville where she shared her faith. She will be sadly missed but will live on forever in the hearts of her loving family and friends.
Galina is survived by her loving husband Warren; daughter Vita Caterenciuc and husband Sergei; a beautiful grandson Dominic Caterenciuc, age 10 months; three sisters Nina Makarchuk, Raisa Kostyushko, and Rosa Chikalo; several special nieces, nephews and many caring friends. Galina was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Nick and Michael and one sister Maria.
Funeral services will be 12 noon, Monday, December 27, 2021 in Bread of Life Church, Rogersville, Missouri, with Pastor Mykola Illyuk officiating. Burial will follow in Selmore Cemetery.
