Goldie Marie Lee, age 96 of Ozark, Missouri went to be with the Lord, Friday evening, December 27, 2013 in Ozark Nursing and Care Center. She was born May 17, 1917 the daughter of Alford Newton and Sena (Johnson) Robison. She graduated from Sparta High School in 1936. On April 15, 1940 she was united in marriage to Eldon Lee and this marriage was blessed with one daughter, Patricia Lee, born July 27, 1941. Goldie loved the Lord and lived a full and happy life.Goldie is survived by her daughter Patricia; a cousin Bob Robison and wife Joyce; several nieces and nephews. Goldie was preceded in death by her husband and parents. The family wishes to thank the staff at Ozark Nursing and Care and Hospice Compassus for the loving care they provided for Goldie. A special thank you is also extended to friends and neighbors for their many acts of kindness for Patricia and Goldie. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 2, 2014 in Barnes Family Funeral Home, Ozark with Chaplain Suzy Lynch officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service.     You probally wont remember me but many years ago Goldie was such a good friend. Especially to my daughter Machelle. Goldie would come get Chelle every Sunday and take her with her to church. And when the strawberries were ripe she would take her to pick them!. Chelle loved her so very much and still today talks about her friend goldie.I am so very sorry for your loss. Goldie was one of a kind and I and my family were priviledgged to have known her.
