December 30, 2013 at 9:52 amWhat a tragedy. Kathy was a class act. You always knew exactly where you stood with her. She is the only Mom other than my own to ground me. She put up with a lot from us girls when we were younger and she was always game for anything. Whether it was camping with girls who actually brought blow dryers, or just vegging out all over her living room eating junk food and talking about boys, she always made you feel welcome. My sympathies to you all. For Kathy was a woman who will be forever missed.

December 30, 2013 at 3:07 pmSo very sorry to hear of Kathy’s passing. I knew her as Susan’s little sister and was around her when visiting or spending the night in their home as teenagers. I remember her bubbly smile and can hear her saying “shucky darn”. You will all be in our hearts and prayers. God bless.

December 31, 2013 at 11:25 amMy sweet Aunt Kathy was a bright star in my life. In all my memories of her, she has always been very loving, kind and extremely thoughtful. Some of my most favorite memories of my childhood are of visiting Grandmother and Granddaddy in Oklahoma, and sharing those visits with Aunty Kathy, Uncle Gerry, Bryan and Chrissy. The very best and most vivid memories are of our many family horseback riding adventures there. It was always such a wonderful time that all the family participated in together.
Aunt Kathy was the first person to show me how to eat pizza without the toppings, and she also showed me how to laugh at myself. Two very important lessons! 🙂 She always made me feel special and loved, and I will miss her dearly.
“You shall not want, nor shall you be afraid. The arms you feel around you are mine. The warmth in your heart and the comfort is that I give you. Today you will come home….To our home. The place where you shall find peace and love from all those that have waited for your arrival. Today, tomorrow or the day after next, you shall live in our home in everlasting love!”
I love you Aunt Kathy! Always!
Alicia

January 3, 2014 at 10:46 amKathy and I were friends in our teenage years. Howard and Faye Alexander allowed me into their home to watch ballgames and to join in discussions about life. I viewed Susan and Kathy as adopted sisters. I am saddened by Kathy’s passing.

January 8, 2014 at 10:18 amI want to express my thanks for all the wonderful messages and the expressions of love and comfort.
There were 4 of us, now there are 3, it stills feels surreal that Kathy is gone. She was the baby, the youngest of 4 sisters and the youngest of 5 girl cousins. We are out of balance.
She will always be missed by those of us who love her. Time will heal the wounds of lose but memories will last a life time
