Harold Wayne Schuenemann, 86, of Oldfield, Missouri, passed from this world on Saturday, December 16, 2017 in Springfield, Missouri. Harold was born December 12, 1931 in Kansas, the son of Fredrick and Grace (Warren) Schuenemann. Harold was united in marriage November 28, 1952 to Marie Hawkins and this union was blessed with two children. Harold spent most of his adult life as an over-the-road truck driver. He also operated heavy machinery, owned a small general store and loved working on his small farm. Harold enjoyed coon hunting, country bluegrass music and visiting with his family and friends. There was never a need that Harold wasn’t willing to lend a helping hand. Harold is survived by his wife of 65 years Marie (Hawkins) Schuenemann, his children, Pat Sutherland and husband Rodger and David Schuenemann. Immediate family also includes four grandchildren, Chris Sutherland, Ryan Sutherland, Heather Cook, and Tony Schuenemann; seven great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters and two brothers. Memorial funeral services will be 6:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 20, 2017 in Barnes Family Funeral Home, Ozark, Missouri. Visitation will be 5:00 P.M. until service time. Online condolences may be shared at www.barnesfamilyfunerals.com. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to St. Jude’s Research Hospital.`
